Legal Question in Mediation in New Jersey

My son and daughter have stopped all contact with my husband and myself and won't allow us to see our only grandchild, 15 month old son. Our relationship is strained at best due to the unusual possessiveness of our daughter-in-law. They are wonderful parents, however, due to the influence of our daughter-in-laws parents this separation continues since last July 25th. Unfortunately, Kelly's family is dysfunctional and not given to a normal and civilized relationship.Sadly, her father is an alcoholic and mother is insecure. Is there any recourse for me in this matter? My heart is broken and the absence of my grandson in my life is unbearable.

Thank you in advance for your response. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
