Generally in the State of NJ, Notice of Appeal msut be filed within 45 days.

Your attorney in the Court Trial should be advising you in this matter. You should call him/her promptly with any questions.

If you need to consult with a second attorney, do so immediately. Be prepared to make many phone calls as appeal is a specialized area which most attorneys would not undertake on short notice from a client they did not represent in the Court trial.
