Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New Jersey
Facial burn from dentist
I was in the process of having a tooth prepped for a root canal and the next thing I know my lip and face and then my tongue felt like they were on fire. The dentist just told me to rinse good. I got home and my face and tongue are burned. I called the office and they said it was formocresol that was used. I looked it up and it is a carcinogen that isn't frequently used. What can I do? I have a wedding to go to in 3 weeks and my lip/face and tongue really burn.

Wow this is an interesting case. I have been a dental malpractice lawyer for almost 7 years and I have never heard about this injury. Did your dentist tell you when the burning should stop?

I know an excellent medical malpractice attorney. Feel free to e-mail me or give me a call and I'll give you her contact information. She is both an attorney and a trained nurse.
