Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New Jersey

medical mistreatment

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 1/2 years ago the testing done before chemo found a growth on my kidney which no one told me. Now my new primary doctor found it and it is cancer. It has not spread do I have a case against my doctor up North in New Jersey? I am now living in Florida.

Re: medical mistreatment

Whether ot not you may have a case depends on the Stage of the kidney tumor now v. what it probably would have been 2 1/2 years ago, ie, how much did the cancer grow during that time period, and, how has the delay in diagnosis effected your treatment and long term prognosis. I'd be happy to discuss this in more detail if you would like.

Re: medical mistreatment

you will need to contact a New Jersey attorney. Generally speaking, a mass on the kidney that has not spread is "good" news -- as it can be removed (usually) without complications. As for your legal options, please contact an attorney in NJ.
