Legal Question in Military Law in New Jersey

upgrade from dd

i was convicted in 01 and given a dd with 4 1/2 years. everyone else in my case were given bcds with me getting the harshest sentence. im thinking of looking into getting my discharge upgraded but am wondering if it is even worth spending the money on trying. are upgrades given often or are the chances slim to none. any advice would be appreciated

The boards will not change a discharge adjudged at a court-martial. Your only chance to have the DD changed would be through the appeals or clemency process.
