More facts are needed to determine if you have a case and the amount to be sought as damages but for now it looks like you might have a case against the owner and the entity owning the sports bar (if it is not him personally). You did not mention when and where this incident happened but it is important to move quickly to preserve evidence and get statements and records before they are unavailable. As to the amount of your claim it all depends on the facts e.g., age, job less, extent of disability, etc. In NJ we are not permitted to ask for an amount in a Complaint but that would come later as part of litigation and settlement discussions and if not agree upon the a jury (or judge) would determine your damages at trial if not settled.
