Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey
attempted suicide
My grandma tried to attempted suicide today, but thankfully failed.
What is the hospital legally required to do? Does the police get involved? Will she be allowed to live by herself again?

Re: attempted suicide
Was she in the hospital? I don't see any role for the police here other than first aid. She needs some serious mental health counseling. When (if) she is cleared, she will be able to live alone again.
Good luck!
