With such a short question, there are a lot of issues raised. First, a Tort Claims Notice must be sent in 90 days or generally the claim is barred, except in exceptional circumstances. Secondly, the suit must be filed within 2 years. Next, there is generally immunity for failure to clear snow or ice ordinaily. And Lastly, the injury must be one that surpasses the sttautory minimum so that there is significant permanent disability. The best way to evaluate the claim is to contact a lawyer and discuss the case. I would be happy to assist if you would like. We can be reached at 1-800-34 NJ LAW.
