Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

car accident/civil case settled

my cousin was involved in a auto accident and settled 2 years ago. she had a back injury. she is now being followed by a private investigator. Could the people that awarded her a settlement trying to prove now that she does not have an injury as bad as she said it was. are they trying to prove fraud on her part after 2 years can they do this? thank you so much

Its possible. It could also be for something else. I think it would be a little odd that they would do this 2 years later.
