Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

I had a car insurance 3 weeks ago and the lady fleed the scene, but a off duty police officer followed her and wrote down all the information. I faxed the police report to this lady's insurance company 3 times already and I have been calling them every day to get my car fixed. BUT they been telling me they dont have the police report and the driver what hit me is telling a different story, even it is all written in the report
