About three and half years ago my wife was involved in a car accident in wich she has many injures and was the other party fault, now we feels the law firm that represent her not really fighting for her, the question, is it possible to take the case to a different lawyer?

I do not do this kind of law (car accidents) any longer, did a lot in the '90's, but I have some friends who are excellent at it.

Give me a call, let's see what I can do for you.

Yes, you always have the right to switch lawyers at any time. There are some issues that can come up which the new attorney that you contact will go over with you, but in short, if you feel the need to switch, you should do so.

At the same time, I can tell you that the handling of personal injury cases, which I have done for the last 18 years, can be a difficult process, and often time frustrating to the person injured, which then sometimes leads to frustration with the attorney. I have had numerous calls over the years from individuals who were seeking to leave their current attorney, and after talking to me, almost all were reassured that what they thought was an attorney who was not fighting for them, was in reality just the system and insurance companies frustrating and delaying the process, and that in reality, thier attorrney was doing every thing right.

Somtimes I also found that requesitng a meeting with the attorney often resolves any problem.

That said, if you have concerns, please call another attorney, if you feel that attorney is giving you honest and objective feedback, if you feel more comfortable with that attorney, and there does appear to be some issues with your current attorney, then you should switch.
