Injury on a bus
My father fell from his seat when a casino bus he was on made an abrupt stop. He hurt his neck, head and back. My father did not seek medical help when it happened but did go to the doctor the next day. The dr said it was whiplash. My father has been very sore and stiff for the past week. He is having difficulty sleeping. Has been using his cane more. I waited a week for insurance to call me, I ended up calling them. Then the adjuster told me she had not reviewed the case. I called her today and she said after she speaks to a local lawyer she will know what the coverage is. I feel my father is due some pain and suffering compensation along with medical coverage. He had a followup dr appt and will be going in for x-rays. My father is in his 70s, has had bypass surgery and has diabetes and also helps in the care of my mother who is currently being treated for cancer.

You should go see a lawyer who does personal injury and car accidents. I do not, but I have several attorney friends who do. I would be happy to give you some names and phone numbers, if you wish. They are all in the Passaic County and Bergen County areas.
