Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

Personal injury case against me

I have a personal injury lawsuit filed against me and i have attended the deposition also. But because my visa status will become invalid shortly i have to go back to my country. How will this affect the case and if i have to return back after a couple of years will there be any legal charges against me?

The law suit won't go away because you left. They will file a default against you and you will have to pay it.
