Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey
Personal injury
My cousin is an immigrant, but he has papers to stay in the US and work in California. He is now in New Jersey and was working in a car wash. About a week ago he was struck by a customer. He suffered an injured leg. All he wants is for the customer to pay for his medical expenses and his lost wages for the days he has not be able to work thats all. She has not returned any phone calls that have been made to discuss the matter. My wife contacted her place of employment and was called back and given an insurance agents number apparently the person who handles her policy. He told my wife that it was the first time that he heard of the accident and that my wife will have to report my cousin under her (my wife) insurance since he is uninsured. What can be done about this, since my cousin did nothing wrong he was just working in the car wash and struck down by this customer! And is my wife liable for anything? Apparently according to the insurance agent since it happened in the state of New Jersey and he is uninsured and lives in our household she has to report it to her insurance agency.
Thank you

Re: Personal injury
you need to hire an attorney.Your issue is too complicated to discuss in the manner. If your cousin was injured while working, he needs to file a workers comp claim. In addition, he may also file a claim with any vehicle in his household. Ultimatly, he needs to sue the striking vehicle. Call me'
