Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey
Hello, I was just recently rearened in a car accident. My car was adjusted and the repairs exceed the amount of what the car is worth. Antoher adjuster is going to check out my car and come up with a quote to determine how much money they are going ot give me to buy a new car. I know I will not be able to get enough to get another decent car. My question is, am I able to sue the person who hit me for any extra money I will now have to put out on a car. I curretnly do not have any car payments nor can I afford to have any. My husband has recently lost his job and this could not have happened at a worse time. Do I have any rights to sue him for the balance of another car?
