Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey
I was run over by a car and I have a knee injury. The report was done and I went to the hospital to get x-rays but I have a lot of pain in my knee and I am not able to work. Will the insurance car of the person that ran me over compensate me for the days that I missed at work and the expenses with drug and consultation? How does this proceed? I'll appreciate your help!

There are a number of different insurance policies that should compensate you for your medical bills, your treatment, your injuries, and your noneconomic damages (pain and suffering). You should talk to an attorney right away. An attorney can take care of managing your medical bills, getting you paid for lost work, etc. And there will be no fee unless you recover. You need the guidance of a lawyer who is familiar with such matters. My firm regularly handles such personal injury cases and I would be happy to help you with this claim. There are several ways you may be compensated for your loss but keep in mind that you may have only a limited time to file an action, and even less time if you intend to file against a public entity. So you need to act soon.
Please note that I only have the little information that you put into your question and my response is presented as a general response to that question.
