Slip & fall - do we have a case?

My husband fell on ice outside our apartment due to improper salting. So far it appears that his injuries were only minor, thankfully, but we are wondering whether we have a valid case to possibly contact an attorney. I have photographs of how bad the ice was and the storm had ended mid-day the day before. He also lost wages from his part-time job...not a huge amount, but it was money still lost because he couldn't work there for two days due to the pain.
