Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

My son was in a accident in which they took his friends parents car, the boy suggested it and gave the keys to my son both are minors. know she wants me to pay for damage to her vech. an 2nd vech. she settled with the 2nd vech. between themselves with only 1 estimate ,for the both .what am i responsile for ? now i told the lady i have no financial means to pay her so i would get my son a job,he's only 17 it has only been 30 days. what is her son responsilble for? if any

Did your son have a license? Did his friensd? Has his friend used the car before? Why isn't her insurance playing? Have you turned this into your insurance?
