Legal Question in Product Liability in New Jersey
I bought a car two weeks ago, ran a diagnostic test on it & one of the results were that the transmission is faulty. The warranty of the car covers transmission, so I went back to the dealer & asked for them to fix/replace it. However, they refuse to do it, claiming the transmission is in good condition. If I return the car, I will lose an estimate of $800 for having used the car for 2 weeks. Is this a scam? What should I do?
