Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

I am not allowed to break the lease or to sublet

Due to relocation, I wanted to break my lease. I suggested the landlord that I will sublet the house and be responsible for payments untill the end of the lease. She refused. It turned out that I can not break the lease and can not sublet it. What can I do?

A full review of the lease is necessary before your question can be answered. Before you take any action, you should contact an attorney (either me or someone else) to discuss your matter in more detail. Only then will you be able to rely on the advice. I will be happy to assist you. However, you need to call me at 856-546-8010. If you mention LawGuru, there will be no charge for your first consultation. Good luck! Rob Gleaner
