Attorneys and Real Estate Commission
Are N.J. Attorneys allowed to collect a real estate commission if they handle a real estate sale or purchase real estate of their own

They can if they are licensed real estate agents or brokers and in that case they usually shouldn't be acting as anyone's lawyer because there are conflicting interests.
