Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

I did bankruptcy about a year ago and in the bankruptcy i listed my mortgage(house) and returned it to the bank. everything went through and worked out. i have not moved out of my house yet. i removed an old staircase and put a new one in but did not put the railing up. am i obligated to put the railing up before i vacate the premises?

I would say yes as this is a safety matter, and you replaced the staircase.
