Re: Big mess
I don't understand your questions because all of those issues should have been addressed by your title company. It is unheard of these days to buy real estate without a title company. There is so much more information that is needed to answer your questions properly. You need a lawyer immediately.
Keep in mind that this advice is given based on the little bit of information that you have
provided in your question. My advice may change based on other information. Further, no one
can rely on advice from an attorney who has not been retained. You cannot rely on this advice
because we have not personally met and you have not retained me as an attorney. You should meet with an attorney for a full consultation before you take any further steps. Good luck! Rob Gleaner
Re: Big mess
Your question is very confusing. It doesn't sound like a normal purchase of property.
You should consult a real estate lawyer in the area where you bought the property to help you figure out what should have happened, what did happen, how it affects you, and what you may do about it.
This response is not legal advice, since I do not have all of the information that would be required, and I do not have a representation agreement with you.
* If the answers to your question confirm that you have a valid issue or worthwhile claim, your next step should almost always be to establish a dialog with a lawyer who can provide specific advice to you. Contact a lawyer in your county or township.
* Another reason for contacting a lawyer is that it is often impossible to give a good answer in the Internet Q&A format without having more information. The unique circumstances of your situation and things that you may not have thought to mention in your question may completely change the answer. If you want to be sure that you have a complete answer to your question and an understanding of what that answer means, establish a connection with a lawyer who practices in the area of your concern.
