Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

I just bought a home and on the day we moved in the sewer line backed into our house and damaged alot, we had to replace the whole sewer line, is there anything we can do about getting something from the sellers on this?

You have described a problem caused by the public sewer. Make a claim against the town. Call the town clerk for a claim form, a tort claim notice.
