closing
when selling our property we were asked for a quick closing, so we tryed to accomidate, we moved out, and rented an apartment. now they keep pushing the closing from may 1, to may 9, to may 15, and now we don't know when. we recourse do we have? Can we ask for compensation for the time and money lost?

HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY SEND THEM A TIME OF THE ESSENCE LETTER. THIS DEMANDS CLOSING IN 10 DAYS FROM RECEIPT. IF CLOSING DOES NOT OCCUR AT THAT TIME, YOU CAN CLAIM DAMAGES FOR YOUR COSTS FROM THAT DAY ON.
