commercial property tax issue

I share a building with the landlord we both have 50% of the improved space, The property is 10 acres my portion of the building sits on 2 acres the rest the landlord uses. for purposes of this example: Land = $10,000 in taxes

Improvements = $10,000 in taxes. What should my obligation be.

Your obligation is to pay the rent specified in the lease. Many commercial leases say that costs such as taxes are to be shared among the rental units according to a stated proportion or formula however, this is never assumed. If the lease is silent on the matter, landlord absorbs tax increases.
