Re: contract between the owners of the house

Presuming you are not using a broker or an attorney, who usually prepare the contracts, you could use a simple form available at most stores like Staples, Office Depot or the like. However, I should caution you that not using an attorney could lead to problems if there are any disputes over matters not covered by these simple contracts, title problems or any number of small problems that may arise in even the simplest of deals. Having done this for over 40 years, I can tell you that even in the most simple deals, problems crop up. Better to spend a few hundred dollars now than possibly thousands later if this happens.

I agree with Mr. Levine. You can use one of the form contracts that you can purchase online but they generally don't provide for the issues that commonly can cause problems such as title issues and underground tanks etc.

My best advice to you is to hire a qualified real estate attorney.
