Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey
Correct name in Title or Deed of the house
I bought house in 2000 and never paid attention that there was typo in First Name. Do I need to correct name? If yes then what will be procedure?

It should be easy to fix this. You want a deed from yourself with the name wrong to yourself with the right name. I did one recently for a client, cost a couple hundred dollars. Let me know if you want me to assist you.

You really don't need to do anything. However if it bothers you a new deed can be recorded with a cost for preparation and recording of about $325
