Disclosure

After 9 months of renting in an apartment complex recently built, it was disocvered that there were harmful leads and other chemicals in the soil. A report says it is safe but the question is ''should this have been disclosed upon signing the lease?''

The non and off-site conditions should have been disclosed. However, if there are no problems and the DEP reports indicate such, this known condition may not be actionable by you against the landlord.
