You do not explain the reason for the eviction? If it was for unpaid rent and/or damage to the property and you did not pay all sums due, your security can be applied against what you may owe. If everything you owed was paid in full, you should have gotten it back and if not, Small Claims Court is the place to go. You may even be entitled to extra damages for failure to return what you are entitled to.
