Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey
How do I find out which attorney or law firm represents a particular bank?

Banks usually have several law firms representing them. Maybe you can ask this question by asking about what is going on, what is happening that you need to deal with.
Or you can call me to discuss,

If it is a foreclosure, the court or the sheriff's office would have the name. If you need help tracking it down or are interested in buying the property call me. If it is not a real estate matter, the best thing to do is contact the department of the bank that is in charge of the kind of matter you are interested in.
Thank you for your LawGuru question. You could ask the bank---assuming there are no strategic reasons not to disclose the fact that you want the information. But, banks are often represented by several law firms... so you may want to refine your question by identifying the legal issue in question. You can also search law firm websites.... this is a mixed bag, some firm do list "representative clients" on their sites, others do not. Please feel free to contact me to discuss this further. 973-921-0600.
Kindly note and remember that my response is merely a general comment on the law related to your question, and NOT legal advice or opinion. Also, your question and my response does NOT create an attorney-client relationship between us. You cannot rely upon what I have written, because I do not have all of the information that I need to advise you or render an opinion. Even simple facts you have not shared can completely change my answer. For me to give you legal advice or opinion, you would need to hire me to be your lawyer, and then we would need to discuss this in detail and go over the documents.
