All persons on the deed are responsible for its upkeep and maintenance. In a divorce/separation context, just because one party leaves the home does not mean he/she has abandoned all rights or obligations to the home. This would need to be determined by agreement or by Court order. Keep in mind that this advice is given based on very limited facts. My advice may change based on other facts that may be given during a full interview. Further, no one can rely on advice given by an attorney who has not been retained.
