Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey
New Housing construction
I recently put a deposit down on a new house and several weeks later I found out the builder dropped his base price. I read the contract and there is noting that states anything about price discounts after deposit. I really want this house and location. Is there anything I can do to get the builder to offer me the lower base price? If not all what about partial?

You should have an attorney for the transaction who can answer your questions. If you need one call my office. As to the contract amount, all you can do is talk to him. There is a chance the appraisal from your mortgage company may come in low if the prices are being lowered and you can use that to renegotiate.
