Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey
My husband and I are moving into another house and he is moving his mother into our old house. Me and my husband are on the deed to this house. Is there some way she can gain possession of the house ?

I am not sure why you want Mom on the Deed, when there may be benefits in retaining sole ownership and, perhaps, having Mom rent it from you. If you have a reason to add her to the Deed, a new Deed needs to be prepared and recorded. Contact me if you need assistance.
She will have possession, she will live there. You and your husband and his mother should put into writing just what you are all agreeing to. I can help you do this. You do not want any ugly surprises after she moves in.
