Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

Joint payment of a car

Hello, my name is--name removed--and I am a divorcee. In my divorce I gave my ex-husband everything which included the car that we bought together which came with payments. He now states that he is not going to make any payments on the car and I do not want my credit ruin. What do I do. I do not know if I chose area of law correctly. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Re: Joint payment of a car

Your divorce lawyer will have ensured that there is a clause in the decree or the property settlement that requires your ex to pay for the car loan. Call that lawyer and have him or her make a motion to enforce the agreement.
