How can you do a JTWROS with a partner not married for the house deed? We do have JTWROS for stocks in New York.

This form of ownership can be established at the time a property is purchased by way of the Deed from the seller to the buyer. Or, if you already own the house, then by having a new Deed prepared naming the current owner and the new co-owner as JTWROS. In either case, special language needs to go in the Deed. I suggest that you contact an attorney to discuss. The cost is very modest. I do this frequently. Feel free to call my office for assistance with this if you would like.
