Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

Land Use

My county has proposed a 'bypass' which

will be right next to my home. My

neighbors will lose their homes to make

way for it. If the above 2 things happen,

can I

a) be compensated for the devaluation of

my property and or

b) get a reduction in property taxes?

Do you think I should have a real estate

attorney?

Thank you very much,

Linda

Re: Land Use

Your concerns are justified.

Your interests will be best served by consulting with a lawyer who has a lot of experience with municipal land use and eminent domain issues. My recommendation would be David Serlin, Esquire of Moorestown. If you have difficulty contact him, give me a call and I will get you connected.
