Legally remove 21 yr old from home

I own a home and want to know the legal steps to kick my 21 yr old sister out. She does not pay any rent, is a college student and will not work. I live in New Jersey.

Has she become a tenant? How long has she lived in your house? Does she pay any part of the mortgage, utilities or other costs? Does she pay rent to you? There are other factors as well.

If she is a 'tenant' under NJ law, then you will need to file a court action to throw her out. You will need to review the details with a lawyer to get a definite answer.
