Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey
I have a lien on a pool contractors home in New Jersey. The company strung my family out for two years and shoddy work. Now Citi is foreclosing on the home. The mortgage was in 2005, while I filed a compliant in 2006, I did not get my judgment until 2008. Do I have no recourse, but to get in line behind the mortgage company even if I can prove criminal activity by the said pool company? The state of NJ shutdown the pool company after reviewing its business practices.

If it was deemed to be criminal, then you may be able to get restitution.
