Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey
I had a lot of difficulty selling my house and in J which was in the early stages of foreclosure. My realtor finally got an offer 2 days before his contract ended. I was under a great deal of pressure to sell the house financially and had discussed the situation with an auction company who knew the house had a listing agreement with a local realtor. Auctioneer gave me a contract to sign and new it would not take effect until the realtors contract was over. The realtor gave me a good written offer two days prior to the end of his contract which I accepted and advised the auctioneer that the house was under contract. The auctioneer is now looking for money claiming expenses etc. I asked him for receipts and he has not furnished any. I feel he is using extortion and harassing me. He is in new York and I have moved to Pennsylvania. The house was in New Jersey . The lawyer handling the closing does not want to get involved because he is semi retired but told me not to worry. What can I do?

You may have to get a second lawyer involved to make this guy go away. Call me at 1-855-9-JEFLAW to discuss
Thee is no question but that you should meet with a lawyer. It is possible that a letter to him will resolve the situation.
