what if my curren mortgage co. can not produce my note from my last refinance.

That may be a defense to a foreclosure action.

Rather than wait to that point, if your loan is not yet subject to court foreclosure action, try to negotiate with the mortgage company for a loan modification, making the terms more affordable for you.

Some mortgage companies will agree, others will not.

If your mortgage company has already sued to foreclose, you may be able to take advantage of a mediation plan that has been set up for NJ.
