mortgage loan
What can i do if at the time of settlement it was not disclosed to me that my mortgage was an interest only loan. Do I have any recourse?

Re: mortgage loan
Are you sure that the loan application was not for an interest only loan?
If you already completed settlement, it's too late. The moment you saw that the loan was not the one you applied for, you should have objected.
Re: mortgage loan
You need to explain how this non-disclosure happened. Are you saying that someone prevented you from reading the note, mortgage, and truth-in-lending statement? Other than these documents, how did you expect the terms of the loan to be disclosed? Were the terms changed after you read them? Were you represented by an attorney? Did you have some reason to expect that somebody else in the transaction would explain the terms to you? Are you blind or disabled? Is there any good reason why knowledge of what you signed should not be attributed to you?
