Partition Suit NJ

Hypothetical question-- In New Jersey, if there was a Partition Suit that resulted in a default judgment against you (where you lose your interest in the property), are you responsible for court costs?

Re: Partition Suit NJ

You need a lawyer's advice. It sounds like there are some valuable property rights involved, and there is no simple answer to the real question, which is, have you lost all of your rights in the property?

a lawsuit for partition does not take away the property you own, but divides it or has the property sold and the proceeds divided.

I do not know what your situation is, and can not give any advice.

Go see a lawyer. Get some assistance.
