paying off mortgage

i was granted permission by court judge to pay off settlement figure amount. i have a person paying off amount and my question is they need no title search. can an attorney have me pay this if not needed? amount is to be paid out side of trustee fees.interest pd to mortgage co frm 6-26-07,until pd in full. pd july and aug. payments.

if you have an attorney, ask the attorney's advice. i can not answer this question. i dont think anyone could without knowing a lot more about your situation.

most of the time, it is very smart to run a title search and make sure that there are no OTHER unexpected problems, liens, judgments.
