pets in condos

my condo assoc does not allow residents to have dogs; however, the dog that i want to have is a police dog..the assoc is giving me a hard time and i have heard that legally they are not allowed to refuse police dogs with proper documentation..

You heard wrong. You may be thinking of seeing-eye dogs as aids to residents who are actually blind.
