plumbing in a co-op apartment

My Super discovered corroding plumbing

connections that were behind cabinetry

(bad repair before I bought it). The

plumber needs to open a wall to make

ALL repairs. My expense or all

Look at your Master Deed and By-Laws, but generally ((0%+ of the time) the unit owner is responsible "from the walls in", which means if it is in the walls, or above your ceiling (which includes plumbing, roofing the roof sheathing, etc.), it is an association common expense. The association may tell you differently, but look at the controlling documents!
