Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

quitclaim deed

my aunt quitclaimed the deed for a home to her husband that according to my grandfathers will belonged to her and my mother 13 years ago.

Her husband died several years ago with no will. My aunt is still alive and the property is on the market to be sold. How do we challenge or reverse the deed? My aunt will be willing to do so. The deed has never been changed with the county since the taxes are still in my grandfathers name. thank you!

Re: quitclaim deed

This will take the assistance of an attorney, and can not be done by a few words over this bulletin board.

I suggest you find an attorney who handles Estates and real estate matters, and get some guidance.

The taxes being in your grandfather's name means nothing.

Please call my office if I can assist you. You can then decide how you would like to proceed.

My contact information can be obtained from the links below, just click on the Attorney Profile link. Let my secretary know you found me through LawGuru.
