I need to do a Quitclaim Deed and want to download the form. The timeshare is in Florida and I live in New Jersey. Do I download the form from Florida or NJ?

Re: Quitclaim Deed

You need a Florida form, but beware. Some forms on the internet are no good...

Have a lawyer draft it for you. It may cost a few dollars more, but it will save you trouble in the long run.

Re: Quitclaim Deed

You need to use a Florida form, as that is where the property is located and where the new Deed must be recorded. Most states have particular language they require, especially in the notarization portion of the document, and if you use the incorrect form or fail to use their language, the Deed will be rejected for recording. It may be worth a few dollars to have an attorney assist you.
