Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

I owned my primary residence for a few years. I resently move-in with a girlfriend. I planned on renting my house however I have a couple looking to rent-to-own. I read on a website that giving someone an option to purchase, can breach my mortgage that has a due-on-sale clause. Is this true and should I aviod it?

please go see a lawyer before you do either thing, move in with girlfriend or rent out your house. you will save a lot of grief later.
