Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

Renters breaking lease

We have renters in our house in NJ.

They are planning on breaking the lease and moving out of country. They do not want to pay the whole amount they own us. What can we do?

If the amount due warrants it, there are two special procedures that may be applicable to force the tenants to post money as a condition to not being arrested and prevented from leaving the United States. Consult your lawyer about ne exeat and capias proceedings.
